Bahya Basti (Oil Irrigation on Localized Area)
Targeted nourishment for joints, muscles, and energy points
Description
This therapy is typically administered to the joints, abdomen, and areas with enlarged lymph nodes, and/or intense & chronic pain.
The procedure involves shaping a ring out of flour dough and placing it around the desired affected area. This is secured to form a dam-like structure, into which warm, medicated oil is gradually poured and retained. The oil nourishes the tissues, reduces pain and inflammation, and supports the healing and functional restoration of the targeted part. It also helps minimize degenerative changes in bones and joints.
