Matra Basti

Matra Basti is a gentle and nourishing form of Basti therapy (medicated enema), primarily used to balance Vata dosha, the governing force of movement, dryness, and nervous system regulation in the body. It involves the administration of a small quantity of specially prepared herbal oil into the rectum, where it is retained for several hours to allow deep absorption and systemic action. Unlike strong cleansing bastis, Matra Basti is non-purging and can be administered daily over several days.

Uttar Basti (Male)

Uttara Basti is a classical Ayurvedic procedure focused on purifying and strengthening the male reproductive and urinary systems. In this therapy, medicated oil or herbal decoction is carefully introduced into the urethral passage, reaching up to the bladder under sterile conditions. This process directly acts on Mutravaha (urinary) and Shukravaha Srotas (reproductive channels), enhancing vitality, function, and balance of Apana Vata.
